Edinburgh Gardens is located in
North Fitzroy, surrounded by Brunswick Street and St. Georges
Road to the west, the curve of Alfred Crescent to the north
and east, and Freeman Street to the south.
The Fitzroy Memorial Rotunda is located opposite
to the Bocskai Hall in the Edinburgh Gardens.
The Fitzroy Memorial Rotunda was erected in 1925 by the Fitzroy
City Council, and the Peace Year Citizens Committee, in honour
of those Fitzroy residents who died in World War I. Designed
by Edward Twentyman, and built by local unemployed workers.
